Question

Question

I am booking a summer holiday. What week in September do I have to arrive?

Answer

Answer

Teaching starts on the Monday of the last week in September. However, we like students to arrive on campus one week prior to this in order to get settled and attend welcome events. Whilst we feel that the welcome events are important for students to attend, they are not mandatory and so, if you have a holiday planned or cannot make this week due to personal reasons, you can rest assured that you will not be missing any lectures during this time. If you have arranged to pick up keys for accommodation, please make sure that you keep your accommodation office or private landlord informed of your intended arrival date should this change to your original agreement.
