Question

Question

What is the average number of contact hours per week on the Civil Engineering BEng (H200) programme?

Answer

Answer

The number of contact hours may change from semester to semester. On average, we would estimate however that 20 hours per week would be spent in lectures and lab time. However, there are weeks when students would be involved full time, for example, in the first year, students have two weeks full time of Active Learning Lab and three consecutive days of surveying camp. In the second year, you would go to the constructionarium site for one whole week.
