Question

I have been offered an undergraduate place but I no longer want it, what do I do?

Answer

Answer

To be Released in to Clearing:

Please email uguk@liverpool.ac.uk with the subject line ‘Release in to Clearing’. Please include your UCAS ID Number in the email. We are only able to release applicants that have been placed with us; please check your status on UCAS Track before requesting this. If you are released, you do not automatically go to your Insurance choice University. You will be placed in to Clearing and able to apply for Clearing vacancies only. If you would still like to attend The University of Liverpool but would like to change to a different course, please see the ‘To request a change to a different course’ section.

To be withdrawn from UCAS:

Please email uguk@liverpool.ac.uk with the subject line ‘Withdraw’. Please include your UCAS ID Number in the email. If you request a withdrawal, you will not be able to apply for any vacancies through Clearing for this year and any places/offers that you hold will be void.
