Question

Question

Do you accept the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ)?

Answer

Answer

Some of our Undergraduate degree programmes do consider the Extended Project Qualification as part of the academic offer, where this is the case it will be outlined in the entry requirements of your chosen course. Applicants to these degrees who offer the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) and meet our offer criteria will be made the standard offer, plus an alternative offer. This will be at one A Level grade lower plus a grade A in the EPQ, for example the offer would be ABB or BBB plus A in the EPQ.

If you are applying for a programme that does not consider the EPQ as part of your offer we would still advise that you include this information on your UCAS application. We recognise that the EPQ will provide an applicant with the opportunity to develop research and academic skills relevant for study at the University of Liverpool. Candidates are encouraged to draw upon their experience of undertaking the project when writing their personal statement, particularly if the topic is allied to their chosen degree course.
