QuestionCan I transfer after first year to veterinary science?
Unfortunately we are unable to accept transfers on to the Veterinary Science BVSc before the completion of other degree programmes.
For entry as a graduate onto the Veterinary Science BVSc we would require:
An upper second class (2.i) Honours Degree completed in the last 5 years, together with Biology and Chemistry at A-level.
- Bioveterinary Science, Zoology or Animal Science (BSc) degrees; grades CC in Biology and Chemistry at A-level
- All other science (BSc) degrees; grades BB in Biology and Chemistry at A-level
- Arts (BA) degrees; grades AA in Biology and Chemistry at A-level
Graduate applicants must also fulfil the GCSE criteria as detailed on the link above.
Due to introduction of a new veterinary curriculum, we no longer offer the accelerated (4 year) programme; therefore all students must complete the 5 year programme.
