Question

Question

What are the Access to Higher Education requirements for the Dental Surgery BDS programme?

Answer

Answer

We consider Access Courses to be suitable for adult learners who should generally have been out of education for at least 5 years and have had no access to higher education.

Unfortunately we do not consider Access Courses to be appropriate for students who have not achieved the required A level grades.

All Access candidates are expected to have significant, relevant work experience.

The Access Course should include significant Biology and Chemistry content at Level 3.Candidates are expected to achieve Distinction in 45 credits at level 3.
