My UCAS reference is older than 12 months. Is this OK?



We would ideally like to have an up-to-date reference for the current year in which you are applying. The reference should be from your most recent educational institution so provided the reference is less than two years old it could still be presented with your application. If you have worked since your most recent academic course, an employment reference will further strengthen your application.

If you do wish to send an additional reference to us you can have this sent to the admissions team directly. Once you have made a formal application through UCAS you will receive an email from the University containing the contact details of your admissions officer.
