Question

Question

How do I apply for a PhD?

Answer

Answer

Prior to submitting an application for a research degree (MPhil/PhD/MD) at the University of Liverpool you should check the research interests detailed on the relevant department's website to see if we can offer expert supervision in your chosen area of specialisation. This may also be found using our course pages. You can find this information via the links below.

You will need to prepare a brief research proposal to outline the research you would like to undertake and it is advisable that you contact a potential supervisor within the department, again, please see the links below for access to this information.

Once you have established that your research can potentially be supervised at the University you can submit a full application with all supporting documentation, including how you intend to fund your research degree.
